With love

What I've learned this year is huge!
I've learned a lot from the disastrous earthquake, from my friends, let alone from the tiny things of my everyday experience.
I wrote that "our consciousness creates our world" on the end of last year and I feel that's really right. Our consciousness even can change the world!   Living our own life faithfully and wishing for the world peace strongly will change the world for the better. In a way, we have a responsibility for our life and for the world.
The earthquake this year showed us that life, in fact, is simple. We just make it complicated. We are all the same, we are all full of LOVE at our core!  I convinced that when we had a huge love from all over the world on 3.11 earthquake. The above photo is LOVE from French girl Agathe who is one of my blog friend,Valerie's daughters.(now I see Valerie my real friend:))  We can connect with people beyond countries, with love, if once we have a conscious desire!  We can create a peaceful world without war, just simply by using LOVE.

今年得たものはとても大きかったです。日々の些細なことからはもちろんですが、３月11日の震災やお友達の人生を通して、たくさんのことを学びました。昨年の暮れにこちらに書いたことですが、「意識が世界を創る」というのはほんとうだなぁと改めて思いました。意識で世界を変えることさえできるのだと思います。自分の人生を誠実に、そして世界が平和になることを強く願って生きて行けばきっと世界を変えることができる。。。ある意味私たちには自分の人生にも世界にも責任があるということなのですね。あの地震が、人生ってほんとうは単純なもの。私たちが複雑にしてしまっているだけなのだと改めて気づかせてくれたような気がします。私たちは根底ではみな同じ。あふれる愛そのものなのだと...地震のとき世界中の人たちが見せてくださった愛で確信もしました。上の写真は、３月11日の地震のときに、ブログを通してお友達になったヴァレリーさん のお嬢さんが描いて送ってくれた愛いっぱいの絵です＾＾　つながりたいと強く意識しさえすれば、国境を越えてつながることはできるのですね。愛を込めれば平和な世界をきづくことはできる...そう思います。出逢ったすべての方に今年も感謝です。一年間ありがとうございました。

Stras and Cranes

I crocheted stars, folded paper cranes, strung beads, praying for people in the disaster area and world safety and peace.. and decorated my small Christmas Tree with them...

今年震災で被害を受けた方々や世界の安全と平和を願いながら...星を編み、おりがみで鶴を折り、ビーズをつなぎ、小さなクリスマスツリーに飾りました＾＾

Bare trees and Camellia trees

It's already late December. Deciduous trees have shed their such colorful leaves  and been showing their beautiful bare branches. While Camellias add bright red / pink / white colors to the monotony of winter. In Japan, people use Camellia trees as a hedge. In my tiny garden, Camellia flowers are in full bloom now. Bare trees and blooming camellias...Each  plant has a different peak season. Every single thing in this universe plays a unique role for balance, and connects each other. So do we:)

もう12月も後半。あんなに色づいていた木々の葉も落ち、あの、きらきらした裸ん坊の枝があらわになってきました。そんな中、道々、垣根として植えられた赤やピンク、純白の山茶花が冬色になっていく街に彩りを添えています。我が家の庭の山茶花も今満開。それぞれにピークを迎える季節が違うのだとあらためて思います。ただ存在するだけでちゃんとそれぞれの役割を果たしてる...。私たちも同じですね。＾＾

Knitting

Finally, I've finished knitting the blue cardigan. It took months to finish it. I had started knitting it before the earthquake, then, after the earthquake, I didn't feel like knitting until September. But...well, now that it has been completed, I like it anyway. The number one reason is that the yarns are hand-dyed using plant-dyes.  Besides, it's light and  possible to wear in many ways (at least two ways, short and long).   I crocheted a broach with some pieces of yarn as well :) I already have some interesting plan for next knitting. It's a bit of challenge for me:)

やっとブルーのカーディガンが完成しました。
3.11の地震前に始めて、その後やる気をなくし、９月頃ようやっと再開したのでした^^;　ずいぶんかかってしまいましたけれど、出来上がってみると結構気に入っています。何より草木染めの糸を使っているので、それだけで気持ちいいです＾＾それと...軽いですし何通りにも着れるので。。。おまけとして半端の糸でブローチも編みました。
次はちょっと挑戦しようと思っていることがあります♪
